Have you just been asked by your manager to make a business trip?  If this is your first business trip, it’s understandable that you may well find yourself a bit nervous. Whether you’re meeting with clients, vendors or visiting a remote office, there are standard rules of business etiquette that every business traveler should follow. Meet with your human resources department to learn about the company’s travel and entertainment expense policy. Will you be responsible for booking your travel or is the policy to submit requests to your manager for approval or directly to the human resources department?
